Hi, I’m Lakeisha, the founder of Lux+Soul. I’m a public school dance educator by day and a mompreneur by night, building a luxury self-care brand rooted in intention, creativity, and community.

With over 30 years of experience as a dance artist and educator and previous experience owning a business, I understand the balance of discipline and creativity it takes to build something meaningful and sustainable.

Lux+Soul was born during the COVID-19 pause, a time of reflection, loss, and stillness. Candles had always been my way of creating comfort and peace at home, and what began as curiosity soon turned into candle-making through research, learning, and persistence.

Today, Lux+Soul offers handcrafted, clean-burning luxury candles designed to elevate everyday spaces and encourage intentional living. Each candle is thoughtfully poured with care, culture, and purpose—because self-care should feel accessible, soulful, and inviting.
